Special Events....

Celebration............There are so many things to celebrate. We are thankful for what we have. We celebrate the seasons, people, and events with our new "Banner Board" the kids each participate in cutting, drawing, painting and pasting their creations to our theme "Banner Board." We have a great time learning about seasons, people and events! The parents love to find what their son or daughter has created. We have many special projects, and make a variety of gifts, and items. The kids love to make a special gift for their parents.

Event Parties.........Along with our celebrations, we of course have to PARTY! All year we have special parties and events for the kids. Birthdays, Valentines Day, Easter Egg hung, Fourth of July, Halloween Trick or Treat party, Thanksgiving feast, Christmas gifts and party.

Theme Days..........Pajama Party, Pirate Day, Princess and Prince Day. The children love to utilize the packed dress-up closet but this is a way to expand upon the great fun we allready have.

Mission Statement

We aim to provide quality daycare in a secure and supportive environmwnt that is responsive to individual needs. We endeavour to provide an environment that is educational, creative and safe. We value all children as unique individuals. Every child deserves to opportunity to reach his or her full potential. We aim to emphasize positive behavior management. We encourage children to cooperate, enhancing their self-esteem and encouraging their ability to interact with one another. We aim to foster awareness and acceptance of each other. Parents are welcomed and recognized as equals and partners in the caring process in order to provide an emotionally warm and supportive environment. We have a fundamental belief that in order for us to care for and provide educational experience for your child, we must work closely with you. Parent's contributions are welcomed and encouraged, however we are aware that all parents have differing commitments and this will affect the degree to which they are involved in their child's education at the daycare.

Field Trip

On Friday, July 13, 2007 we visited the Rosholt Motorcycle Company. The children got to see some Motorcycles being worked on, try out the machines, explore the shop and get a close up view of Miss Betty's own Harley Davidson motorcycle. The children were very inquisitive and all had a wonderful time. Following the tour of the Motorcycle Shop, we took a walk over to the park for a picnic lunch. Thanks to Brandon's dad for joining us at the Motorcycle Shop. Thank you especially to Chain and Betty Williams for taking time out of their busy schedule to show us around the shop!!
